The formula is built around six main ingredients: 70% Rice Bran Water : hydrates, soothes, helps even out skin tone and control sebum Niacinamide : brightens dullness and supports a stronger skin barrier Ceramides (NP, AP, EOP) : reinforce the barrier and reduce moisture loss Hyaluronic Acid (multiple forms) : pulls water into the skin for deep, lasting hydration Panthenol : locks in moisture and aids skin repair Betaine : adds softness and an extra layer of hydration

Yes. It's formulated with soothing, barrier-friendly ingredients including: Rice water Ceramides Panthenol Hyaluronic acid These work together to hydrate and calm rather than irritate. If your skin tends to react to specific ingredients, it's worth checking the full INCI list before adding it to your routine.

They're similar in texture, both being lightweight and milky rather than watery. This one leans into brightening and barrier support specifically, with: Rice water, niacinamide, arbutin, and vitamin C for an even, glowy complexion Ceramides, cholesterol, and phytosphingosine to strengthen the skin barrier If you loved the Fenty toner's milky feel, this is a solid K-beauty alternative with a stronger focus on brightening.

Not specifically. The formula uses rice bran water as its base, but it isn't described as fermented in the ingredients list. If fermented rice water is something you're looking for, this one may not be the right fit.

On fragrance, the formula doesn't list any added fragrance ingredients, but we'd recommend checking the full ingredient list on the product page to be sure. On age, we generally suggest actives-based skincare for 18 and over. At 16, a simple routine of gentle cleanser, moisturiser, and SPF covers most bases well. If there are specific skin concerns, a dermatologist can give personalised guidance.
